150,000 sunflower seeds will be distributed among the Providence community and planted at will. This project will hopefully create a model for export to other cities.

about the artist

Dave Cole's most recent work involves using backhoes to knit American flags, which will be featured at MassMOCA in Summer 2005. In his spare time, he likes to play with dangerous materials and tell pirate jokes.
