This map of a former Worlds Fair
site investigates the complex
cultural and geopolitical meanings of American Worlds Fairs, and explore urban
places which have all but forgotten their “global” past. The “Panama-Pacific”
map was first distributed at the site of the 1914 Panama-Pacific International
Exposition in San Francisco. Small Panamanian flags were also distributed
on site.
