About once a week, I go for a walk (each walk links up with the last to make a continuous line, north to south, across the state). I document each walk in a different, randomly chosen way (photo, video, mapping, picking up objects, writing down words from a billboards, etc). Then I will present this documentation, in an interactive form, in several smalls "museums" of artifacts that will be located at CUBE2.

about the artist

Erika Howsare will be receiving her MFA in Creative Writing from Brown University during this Provflux 2005 weekend. She hosted "Post-Postcard" at last year's conference, and will have her writings published in a variety of forthcoming journals, including FIELD, Chain, The New Orleans Review, and Skein.
