These concrete and garbage sculptures will be created along the waterways in Providence, using found objects at each site to make each sculpture unique. This participatory project will begin at the Steel Yard with a workshop that will introduce everyone to using cement as a medium for creativity and a demonstration of casting in plywood frames. Immediately following the workshop, a tour will be led to other sites in Providence that will be set up to repeat the process in a public urban context.
