space recovery ongoing + citywide
There's quite a few RIPTA signs that read "this is no longer a bus stop." This interests me because a) there's been a lot of change in the Providence landscape that's easily forgotten and b) native Rhode Islanders like to give directions by where things "used to be," creating a verbal history passed around in a folk-like manner.
I will be making signs similar to RIPTA's that display what things "used to be"-- for example, "this is no longer a brewery," "this is no longer a factory, " etc. They will be on installed at various locations around town.
