Several years ago, Providence invested in a whole bunch of brown plastic garbage cans with "Keep Providence Beautiful" printed on the side. HOWEVER, a lot of these have a blank space where it should read "Providence." Rumor has it several interesting variations on this phrase will be stencilled instead; for example, "Keep Smiling, Beautiful," or "Keep It Up, Beautiful."
