The Steel Yard <27 Sims Ave>
The Steel Yard will be open from 10a-8p from June 1-4. It will host a variety of events, including the Mid-Weekend Banquet, the Talk With Your Mouth Full: brunch + discuss, and film screenings, as well as serve as the departure point for many of Provflux's tours and explorations. Information on all events will be available, including maps, updates from roving projects, and Internet access.
The Steel Yard will also be the site for many installations and services, including the Urban Agricultural Unit, The Met School's Mobile Classroom, Yellow Bike rentals, and the Global Campground.
MURL <mobile urban research laboratory>
MURL will be roving the streets of Providence from 11a-8p from June 1-4, bringing a mobile library of information about Provflux events and activities to a variety of communities across the city. Featuring maps, books, Internet access, and lounge, MURL will serve as a transitional point of information dissemination and while providing a comfortable venue for continued discussions.
